Sedex Stakeholder Forum 2017
Date: 10th October 2017: 11:00 – 17:00
Venue: Studio Manchester, 51 Lever Street, United Kingdom, M1 1FN
The Sedex Stakeholder Forum meeting was held on October 10th in Manchester, UK. The forum brought together over 100 suppliers, buyers, auditors and stakeholders to work together and develop effective responsible sourcing solutions.
The meeting in October will demonstrate the SSF’s new approach as Sedex look to engage a more global audience to help develop and review effective responsible sourcing solutions. The SSF wants to be seen as inclusive, global and interactive. We will be looking at the journey of the forum – where it has come from and where it heads to in the future. The working groups will present their progress from the last meeting and work stream proposals for the upcoming months through to the Sedex Conference in March. Following this there will be opportunity to feedback on the working group progress and contribute to other key discussion topics such as a review of the implementation of SMETA 6.0.
