The Sedex Conference is the UK’s largest responsible sourcing conference held in London, bringing together over 700 business leaders, CEOs, practitioners and government representatives.

This year’s theme is “From outputs to outcomes – Raising the bar in responsible sourcing”, and throughout the two days we will challenge ourselves to be leaders in ethical trade – exploring key areas of supply chain sustainability to critically evaluate responsible business practices, systems and industry trends.

The two-day conference will delve into inspiring and practical insights that you – as a brand, retailer or supplier, can take back to your respective organisations and apply. By covering key industry topics by region and by maturity level in responsible sourcing, the Sedex Conference aims to outline how to go beyond measuring results to addressing impact, through panels and break-out sessions such as:

  • Navigating guidance versus legislation in a VUCA world (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous)
  • Driving continuous improvement through trusted data and practical tools
  • From internal and external collaboration to regional engagement
  • The future of responsible sourcing – what would this look like in 2020, 2025, and 2050?

Our host will be Martine Croxall, the international BBC news presenter and journalist, for the second year running. We will provide key insight into overcoming core challenges and driving change through ambitious responsible sourcing programmes – enabling you to take away practical sustainability solutions.
