Humanity is at an important crossroads in regard to our planet and our responsibility to fellow humankind. Collaboration and knowledge sharing are integral to overcoming the ethical, social and environmental challenges we face.
The Sedex UK Conference is Sedex’s flagship event and the biggest responsible sourcing conference in the UK, attracting over 700 people each year. The Conference has been running for over 7 years and aims to drive the discussion in progress and positive impact in ethical trade and responsible sourcing.
2019 highlights reel
We are pleased to share that the Sedex UK Conference 2020 will be taking place on Wednesday 18th March 2020 at The Brewery in central London. The Sedex Awards ceremony will follow the Conference in the evening, celebrating the progress Sedex members and businesses are making in ethical trade and sustainability.
In 2020, we will be showcasing Sedex’s ambitious 2025 Strategy that aligns with our vision – to improve the lives of people working in supply chains. The 2020 Conference will be a one-day event, that will help attendees really understand the complexities behind responsible sourcing. The morning will offer a series of workshops to support attendees to problem solve and make challenging decisions in their ethical sourcing programmes. In the afternoon, delegates will attend a series of inspirational keynotes and be framed by an open and close with the Sedex CEO, Simon McCalla. You will learn how to respond to crises, which tools to use, how to communicate effectively, and how respond to unfolding challenges with trade-offs for different stakeholders. We will hear from different perspectives, including buyers, suppliers, workers and policy makers.
