UN Global Compact UK Network and Sedex Event Partnership

The UN Global Compact UK Network (UNGC-UK) and Sedex are pleased to announce an exciting events series to facilitate our shared aims of driving improvements and convergence in responsible business practices.

Building on the success of the UNGC Quarterly Meeting hosted by Sedex in October 2012 on Capacity Building and Tools for Sustainable Supply Chains, UNGC-UK and Sedex are partnering to provide regular complimentary webinars and events. The aim is to facilitate enabling environments for knowledge exchange, mutual learning, collaborative projects and engagement with key stakeholders, initiatives and projects. This partnership further aligns the goals of both organisations and their members.

Topics will include Key Emerging Trends for Sustainable Supply Chains by Region and emerging CSR topics, focusing on risk and performance management in global supply chains, highlighting companies’ achievements of good practice and best practice, impact, trends and collaboration. The schedule for 2013 will be announced shortly.

Recordings of webinars will be publicly available. Please email content@sedexglobal.com to register your interest in future events.

The UNGC is a strategic policy initiative for businesses that are committed to aligning their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption. As the largest collaborative platform for managing ethical supply chain data, Sedex is well placed to offer unparalleled insight into common issues, key learnings and emerging trends for companies who are trying to improve the sustainable performance of their supply chains. Sedex is a Non-Business Signatory of the UNGC.
