Tom Smith, Head of Marketing & Business Development at Sedex, will be speaking at the first conference hosted by APRES (Action Programme on Responsible Sourcing) – a Loughborough University-led network, set up to provide advice and guidance on responsible sourcing for the UK construction industry.
The conference, entitled ‘Responsible sourcing of construction products: Drivers, performance and impact’, is taking place on November 23 – 24 2011 at Loughborough and will also feature a keynote presentation on responsible sourcing for the 2012 Olympics. Delegates will hear about progress against industry and government targets, what manufacturers are doing to ensure their products are available to the market.
