Sedex is delighted to announce that we are now members of the CSR360 Global Partner Network. This is a global network of not-for-profit organisations working with businesses to improve their positive impact on society and includes:
- Over 110 independent organisations from over 60 different countries
- Reaching over 6,000 companies around the world
- Presence on every major continent
- A wealth of resources including toolkits and handbooks
- Expertise across the Corporate Responsibility (CSR) spectrum including community, environment, workplace and marketplace.
The network is convened by Business in the Community (BITC). BITC stands for responsible business. It is a business-led charity with a growing membership of 850 companies, from large multinational household names to small local businesses and public sector organisations.
The network complements global organisations such as the International Business Leaders Forum (IBLF) and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), and initiatives such as the UN Global Compact (UNGC) and the UN Millennium Development Goals which address global issues but need a network of intermediaries to make an impact at local level.
