We are pleased to announce that Ethical Trading Initiative Norway (IEH) has become a member of Sedex in order to help drive a closer relationship between the two organisations.
This new partnership will give IEH access to a variety of reports to enable them to keep track of their member’s progress towards improving working conditions worldwide. Working with Sedex will also help to reduce duplication and drive a collaborative approach to ethical and responsible business practices.
“This is a great step forward in driving the collaborative approach to improving standards” says Carmel Giblin, Sedex General Manager. “IEH has made great progress in increasing awareness of the issues and giving companies practical advice on how to improve standards”.
Managing Director of IEH, Per Bondevik adds: “The partnership with SEDEX is a very important addition to the tools available for IEH members, and an important step in avoiding duplication of efforts in providing reliable data on social issues in global supply chains.”
