As a non-business signatory of the UN Global Compact, Sedex are delighted to have been able to provide input via the UK Network to help shape these new global priorities.

The 2013 Sedex AGM & Member’s Forum marked the launch of a collaborative effort by 7 global organisations, including Sedex, who have produced the world’s first practitioner’s guide to sustainable sourcing of agricultural raw materials.

At the 2013 AGM & Members Forum Sedex was pleased to announce the public launch of the Sedex Supplier Workbook, developed in partnership with award winning NGO, Verité.

Falabella, one of South America’s leading retailers, has joined Sedex Information Exchange to manage and report on ethical risk in its supply chain.

This serves as a stark reminder of the devastating impacts that neglecting basic health and safety requirements can have.

Responsible Business Week, 15-19 April raises awareness of the depth and breadth of responsible business, its transformational impact on communities, individuals and businesses, and of those pioneering companies, innovators and thinkers that are integrating responsible behaviour into all that they do.
